They say you have about a 20-30% chance you’ll actually see the peak of Denali, it’s usually covered by clouds, and after some rain, I thoug Monsoooons ⛈ Ahh, monsoon season – the exciting relief to the desert summer heat. I love watching these storms roll in and always have – the lightening flashes, booming thunder, rain, and the smell (AZ peeps, you know). There’s som Sunday desert illustrations! I love quail. Growing up in the desert with a name like Quay, I for some reason thought I was more connected to them than anyone one else – made sense as a kid, I swear 😂 We had them in my yard all the time and I Taking in the views of Harding Icefield 😎 This was such a challenging fun trail! We couldn’t go to the end as there was safety concerns after avalanches earlier in the season, but man it was worth the climb to this point.
